...Egyptology...

As long as I can recall I have always been intrigued by Ancient Egypt; the Pharaohs and the Gods of the time. I am not even sure what grabbed me so strongly, but something about it is just beyond fascinating to me. I can never read/watch/learn enough to keep myself happy. I considered majoring in Egyptology, but the career options are rather limited. Hence, I study it on my own.

I actively seek to learn more about any aspect of Ancient Egypt whenever I can. The New Kingdom, however, is my main area of study. Specifically the eighteenth dynasty. I have been taken (obsessed?) with this period for a long time, so expect most of my work to be on it.

Sadly, much of the information presented on the web is full of inaccuracies and contradictions. In an attempt to give the most reliable information possible, what is presented here is from research done independent of the intranet. The web can be a great source of information, but only those pages that list their sources (these ought to be books, not other websites) should be taken seriously. Even then, all information should be cross-referenced with at least one published source. Authors of published books are required to substantiate their findings with research, making them a far more reliable source of information. All research sources for the articles on this site have been carefully documented and are listed at the bottom of each page.

That said, please respect the amount of time and effort (all writing is solely my work) put into these pages. I have not objection if you link to them, or quote content (with proper citation, of course), but please do not reproduce them or use them in any other way without my express permission.
